To use Mobile, Order & Pay, you need to have downloaded the McDonald’s™ App, be registered and logged in.  If location services is enabled the app will automatically select your nearest restaurant, if not, you will see the map with all the available restaurants which you can select from.

Tap on the Order icon, scroll through our menu to add your desired products to your bag. When you’re happy with your order, click on the checkout button and select your desired pickup option. You can choose from the Counter (dine in and take away), or with Table Service, or with your vehicle at the McDrive™. These options may vary by restaurant and time of day.

Once you select the pickup option, you need to confirm your order and proceed to payment. Select your preferred payment method from the dropdown menu and tap on the ‘place order & pay now’ button.

For Counter orders (dine in & take away) and Table service orders, once you pay, the restaurant will begin to prepare your order and it will be ready in 3-5 min. For Drive-Thru orders, we will start preparing your order once you arrive at the McDrive™.

You can complete and pick up your McDonald’s™ order at any participating restaurant. When you arrive at the McDonald’s™ restaurant, you need to choose how you want to pick up your order: from the Counter (dine in & take away), or with table service, or with your vehicle at the McDrive™. These options may vary by restaurant and time of day. When you check in with your preferred pick-up method at the restaurant, your mobile order is completed, and the restaurant charges your registered payment card.

The receipt will be delivered to you in hard copy along with your order.

Remember, never use the McDonald’s™ App while driving! Only check in when you are safely stopped at a McDonald’s™ restaurant, and make sure your location services settings are turned on.

If you turn on location services, Mobile Order & Pay will display the nearest McDonald’s™ restaurant to you that offers this service. You can also change the suggested McDonald’s™ restaurant by tapping on change location.

Within the location map, after selecting a restaurant icon, selecting the white detail box will also indicate if Mobile Order & Pay is available at a particular location .If the restaurant is participating, “Order Here” will appear in a green button at the bottom of the detail page, allowing you to select it and begin the order. If not, “Order Here” will appear muted out, indicating that Mobile Order & Pay is not enabled at that location.

You can add to your bag up to 20 items per order. They can be either the same product or different ones.

 

Once you arrive at the McDrive™, tap on ‘My Order’ and share the order number at the Drive-Thru speaker, so that the restaurant can start preparing your order. The payment is automatically processed through the app when the order is submitted, no payment is therefore required at the McDrive™. If the order is not picked up within 2 hours, the paid order will be lost and will no longer be available for pick-up. 

Applicable offers & MyMcDonald’s Rewards™ are available for redemption through Mobile Order & Pay. Simply tap on the desired offer or reward, from MyM section in the app, tap the redeem button, select ‘Add to pick-up order’ option and proceed with your Mobile Order and Pay order. Check out also exclusive “Mobile order only” offers. Kindly note that terms and conditions are applicable to each offer and reward respectively.

Yes! You can earn 10 points for every €1 you spend on everything you purchase from McDonald’s™, even if you’re just redeeming an offer or ordering more food in addition to that.

If you have difficulty accessing your previously earned loyalty points, it could be that you did not renew your consent after we launched the mobile ordering feature on the app. Don’t worry, you can consent to the loyalty program and accept to receive personalised offers based on your preferences and order history, by checking the toggle on the “My Account” Section located in the profile of the application Menu. Once this is done you will be able to access all your previously earned points as well as start earning more points when ordering through the McDonald’s™ Αpp. 

*Please note that your loyalty points are in no way lost, unless they have expired (valid for 1 year).

The McDonald’s™ Αpp accepts VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club, American Express, Discover, Visa Electron, Union Pay, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

You can add or remove a card from your account by tapping on the manage credit cards option.  Follow the prompts on the screen, complete the required fields within the payment form and choose ‘Save’ to add a new card.

If you believe incorrect or unauthorized charges appear on your account, you should immediately contact your bank. You should also update your password immediately. Security experts recommend that individuals use good password complexity and different username and password combinations for each account.

The McDonald’s™ Αpp will label products that are currently unavailable for specific locations to prevent you from ordering those products. If you attempt to reorder an item that contains multiple products, where one or more of the products is unavailable, you will get a window pop-up with an error message.

The drive-thru order payment is processed as soon as the order is submitted from the McDonald’s App. If the 2-hour pick-up window lapses, the restaurant will not be able to find your order and it will be lost.
